Do you offer DJ-only wedding packages?

Yes. Our professional DJ service forms the foundation of every package, but we can provide DJ-only bookings depending on your venue, date and requirements. Many couples choose a package for value and atmosphere, but standalone DJ services are available on request and may be subject to minimum order make-up fee.

How long is included in each wedding entertainment package?

Our DJ & hosting service runs for up to 5 hours during the evening reception. Photo booth hire operates for 3 hours within that timeframe. If you require additional time, this can be arranged when building your quote.

Can we customise a package to suit our venue?

Absolutely. While our structured packages are designed for simplicity and value, you can upgrade elements such as dance floor size, add additional uplighting, or include special effects. We also offer fully bespoke combinations with a minimum spend of £800 before transport.

Do venues need to approve special effects?

Yes. Effects such as cold sparks, dry ice and confetti cannons require venue approval before confirmation. We are fully insured and PAT tested, and we’ll work directly with your venue if needed to ensure compliance.

How do we secure our wedding date?

After our contract has been agreed, A 20% booking fee secures your date in our diary. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Once secured, we begin the planning process to ensure everything runs seamlessly on the night.

Are you fully insured and PAT certified?

Yes. A J Wedding Entertainment operates under A J Events Services Ltd and is fully insured. All equipment is regularly PAT tested, and certification can be provided to your venue upon request.
